The integration between Check‑in Scan and GuestWisely automates guest registration to comply with local legal requirements - especially in European markets. Guest details like names, emails, and phone numbers are imported directly via API from your GuestWisely account into Check‑in Scan, eliminating manual entry and reducing errors.

How to integrate Check-in Scan with GuestWisely
1. Enable Check-in Scan
Locate the Police Report for EU Users bolt-on and click on Add+.
Scroll down and update your subscription to reflect the change.
2. Initial setup
Go to Marketplace > Check-in Scan.
From this page, copy the following credentials: GuestWisely Owner Token, API Key, and Password.
Go to the Check-in Scan control panel and click My Account > Integrate PMS > GuestWisely.
Paste the API credentials you copied from GuestWisely into the appropriate fields.
3. Import and match your Properties
You’ll be prompted to select which properties you'd like to import from GuestWisely.
If those properties already exist in Check-in Scan, you can match them during this step.
After confirming the selected properties, click End to complete the integration process.
4. Final setup in Check-in Scan
Go to the top navigation menu and click Properties > My Properties.
Activate any newly imported properties.
Complete any remaining property fields as needed.
