Introduction

Integrating Online Trust Accounting Plus (OTA+) with GuestWisely allows you to smoothly manage your pricing, accounting, and property data across platforms.

With this integration:

  • Save time:  OTA+ pricing updates automatically flow into GuestWisely without manual entry.

  • Maintain accuracy: Keep your website, OTA listings, and channel manager perfectly aligned.

  • Improve financial oversight:  Always have up-to-date trust accounting data with the latest property rates and availability.

  • Centralize control: Manage pricing from OTA+ and let GuestWisely handle website and channel manager distribution.


How to integrate OTA+ with GuestWisely 

1. Enable OTA+ 


  • Locate the Online Trust Accounting + bolt-on and click on Add+.


  • Scroll down and update your subscription to reflect the change.


2. Initial setup


  • From this page, copy the following credentials: GuestWisely Owner Token, API Key, and Password.

Important: These credentials are sensitive. Do not share them in public channels or store them in unsecured locations.

  • Open a new browser tab and log in to your OTA+ account.

  • From the top navigation bar, click Settings.

  • In the settings menu, select Integrations or API Connections (the exact wording may vary based on your OTA+ version).

  • Inside the Integrations or API Connections section, scroll down until you find GuestWisely in the list of available integrations.

  • Click Connect or Edit next to GuestWisely and paste the GuestWisely Owner Token, API Key, Password.

3. Verify the Integration and Sync Your Data   

  • In OTA+, trigger a manual sync if the option is available, or wait for the next scheduled sync (usually within a few hours).

  • In GuestWisely, go to your Pricing section and confirm that the rates from OTA+ appear correctly.

  • Check your website or channel manager to ensure the changes have been pushed through.


Troubleshooting Tips

If the integration does not work as expected:

  • Double-check that the API credentials in OTA+ match exactly what is shown in GuestWisely.

  • Confirm your OTA+ account permissions allow external integrations.

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.

  • Contact GuestWisely Support  at support@guestwisely.io with screenshots of your setup.
