Introduction

Welcome to the GuestWisely Referral Program.

The program allows you to recommend GuestWisely to other property management companies and receive a reward once they become a paying customer.

GuestWisely uses Cello’s embedded referral component to securely track referrals and manage reward validation automatically.

This guide explains how to refer a company and how the validation process works.


How the Referral Program Works

GuestWisely uses Cello to manage and track referrals securely.

When you refer a company:

  • You share your unique referral link.

  • The company signs up using your link.

  • The company activates a paid subscription.

  • The referral is validated.

  • Your reward becomes eligible.

A referral is only considered successful once the referred company becomes a paying customer.


Step 1: Access the Referral Section

To start referring:

  • Log in to your GuestWisely account

  • Navigate to the Referral section in the bottom-left corner

  • Open the referral widget

The referral widget allows you to copy your personal referral link and track referral activity.

Step 2: Share Your Referral Link

Inside the referral widget:

  • Copy your unique referral URL.

  • Share it with property managers who may benefit from GuestWisely.

You can share it via:

  • Email

  • LinkedIn

  • Industry groups

  • Direct conversations

  • Website content

Important: Only sign-ups through your referral link are tracked.

Step 3: How Referral Tracking Works

When someone clicks your referral link:

  • A secure referral identifier is attached to the visitor.

  • The referral relationship is stored automatically.

  • If the visitor creates an account, it is linked to your referral profile.

Tracking is automatic and does not require manual submission.


Step 4: Monitor Your Referrals

Inside the Rewards tab under the referral section, you can view:

  • Referrals sent (Link views)

  • Sign-ups

  • Validation status

  • Reward status


Referral Validation & Rewards

A referral is validated only when the referred company activates a paid GuestWisely subscription.

Incomplete registrations do not qualify. Once the subscription payment is confirmed:

  • The referral status updates automatically.

  • The reward becomes approved.

  • Payment is processed according to the referral program schedule.

Rewards remain valid according to the program terms.


Referral Tracking

When a company clicks your referral link:

  • A secure tracking identifier is applied.

  • The referral relationship is stored.

  • If the company creates an account, it remains linked to your referral.

Tracking occurs automatically within the system.


Validation Rule

A referral is validated only when the referred company activates a paid subscription.

Sign-ups alone do not qualify.
Accounts without payment do not qualify.

Only active paying customers trigger validation.


Reward Processing

Once payment is confirmed:

  • The referral status updates to “validated”.

  • The reward becomes approved.

  • Payment is processed according to the program schedule.

You can monitor this inside your referral section.


Referral Guidelines

To maintain fairness:

  • Self-referrals are not allowed.

  • Duplicate or fake accounts are not eligible.

  • Misleading promotion is prohibited.

GuestWisely reserves the right to review all referrals.
